A customer asked about the industrial touch screen circuit. Today, I will discuss the industrial touch screen circuit with you. In fact, touch control is also a sensor. If it has a sensing part, it must have a circuit part. The touch circuit part is mainly responsible for: signal detection, coordinate positioning and gesture recognition (slide/zoom/click).
For the MCU circuit, which circuit units are mainly needed? The first and most important one is ADC (all sensors need it), followed by scanning control and DSP (signal processing). The scanning circuit must have a clock signal, so a timer is needed. Gesture recognition is implemented by a unit called finger tracking. Finally, to save the user configuration code, EPROM or flash memory is also required.
There are two main difficulties in the design: 1) High resistance increases capacitance problem, 2) noise coupling (noise coupling). The former is mainly due to the fact that the ITO electrode becomes longer and longer as the screen increases, and the resistance is also increasing. In addition, the longer electrode leads to a larger capacitance area, so the capacitance is also increasing. The last problem is that the RC delay is extended, and the solution is to increase the voltage to speed up the scanning speed or change the metal wiring. The latter (noise coupling) is mainly due to the fact that the panel is getting larger and larger, which is easily interfered by environmental noise, and environmental noise is mainly avoided by shielding. Another interference comes from the switching power supply, which can only be achieved by adding noise elimination before the ADC.
The above is some introduction to the industrial control touch screen circuit. I hope it can help you understand the industrial control touch screen. If you want to order (industrial display), you can contact us at any time.
